WELCOME
The Priorswood Community Centre was set up in 1998 to help young families.
We identified a need for help for all residents and have since moved forward to offer help, support, guidance and advice to ALL residents, who need it, in the North Taunton area.
We hold daily surgeries ranging from:
Housing,
Benefits,
Citizens Advice,
Police
and many others, all this is done in the strictest of confidence and in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We open daily from 9.30am to 12.30pm for tea or coffee,
only 50p a cup, and general help.
We also run many classes, activities and information days for anyone to attend.
The Centre is staffed by our team of dedicated volunteers and is open to all, with the aim of making it the focal point of the community, where residents can feel comfortable asking for help and support right on their doorstep. If you would like to volunteer, just pop in and pick up an application pack.
The Community Centre is run by the North Taunton Partnership and is a registered charity, it is made up of a board of trustees and employs 4 part time members of staff.
We rely on the money we raise and donations to keep the Community Centre open.

All the money we raise from our bric-a-brac, book sales and events we run, is put back into keeping the Community Centre open.
